Create an engaging launch aesthetic for use across all supporting assets for the Moog Messenger NPI.
Context
Messenger is the next generation of monophonic analog synthesizer design from Moog. Full of innovative twists on beloved circuits, Messenger brings the iconic Moog sound to musicians, producers, and sound designers across all genres in the form of searing leads, delicate textures, and deep rumbling bass. Two oscillators with wavefolding and a sub-oscillator create weighty full-spectrum tones while the reimagined legendary ladder filter gorgeously carves up your sounds with long-awaited resonance compensation and multi-mode features. Built in a compact yet comfortable enclosure with 32 keys and intuitive knob-per-function controls, Messenger is an exciting new tool ready to be the center of a live setup or a new source of inspiration in the studio.
Inspiration & Direction
The principal art shown below calls on the surrealist style of the iconic airbrushed synth artwork of the 70s and 80s. The surreal nature of these concepts speak to the experimental and imaginative sounds which can be synthesised & sculpted using a Moog synthesiser.
